Thin Clients

With Server-Based Computing (SBC), you do not need local harddiscs or fast processors in your clients. You no longer need moving parts which generate noise, heat and are unreliable. Thin-clients are small, run cool, are quiet and are extremely robust. They can be completely remotely managed meaning that there is no client configuration at all. They can be simply plug and play.

THINTUNE - The ultimate thin-clients

The THINTUNE range of clients offer high-performance at low-cost with unrivalled reliability and ease of management. From the tiny eXtra Small (XS) model through to the expandable Large (L), there is a model to fit your needs. There is even a portable, wireless, touch-screen version for use anywhere at your site. With no moving parts, they are silent and cool in operation. All are significantly smaller in size than a standard PC. THINTUNE client support USB digital cameras and pen-drives without having to install drivers. Two models in the family (S and L) support internal floppy drives. All models support external floppy, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives.

Central Management

THINTUNE clients as powerful and flexible, but best of all, the JS-ADMIN management software sets new standards for ease of management and centralised control. A new client just needs to be connected to the network; the management software can find it and make it part of a group. Each group can have its settings configured through easy-to-use Windows-based software. The settings are automatically loaded as the machine powers up. From the central management software you can even switch on or off all the clients remotely. You may also view the client's display and send messages. The internal software (firmware) can be updated easily from a central point and the management tools can ensure you have all the latest version using a simple update wizard.
